Equipoise, or boldenone undecylenate, is a favorite veterinary steroid of many athletes. Average doses of equipment are 200-400 mg per week. Injections are usually taken every other day.
The effects are strongly anabolic and only moderately androgenic. Boldabol or Equipoise in itself provides a steady and even reinforcement in mass and strength. However, the best results are obtained when Equipoise is used in conjunction with other steroids. For lots, Equipoise stacks exceptionally well with Anadrol (oxymetholone), Dianabol (methandrostenlone) or an injectable testosterone such as Sustanon 250. Equipoise is also very effective for competition preparation because it flavors very poorly. Muscle hardness and density can be greatly improved when Equipoise is combined with Parabolan (trenbolone hexahydrobencyl carbonate), Halotestin (fluoxymesterone) or Winstrol (stanozolol).
All about Equipoise (Boldenone Undecylenate)
Equipoise is the popular brand name of the veterinary injectable steroid boldenone undecylenate. In particular, it is a testosterone derivative, which exhibits strong anabolic and moderately androgenic properties. The undecylenate ester greatly prolongs the activity of the drug (the undecylenate ester is only one carbon atom longer than the decanoate), so that clinical injections would need to be repeated every three or four weeks. In veterinary medicine, Equipoise is most often used on horses and has a pronounced effect on lean body weight, appetite and general disposition for the animal. This compound is also said to show a marked ability to increase the production of red blood cells, although there should be no confusion that this is an effect that characterizes almost all anabolic / androgenic steroids. The beneficial properties of this drug are much appreciated by athletes, Equipoise is a very popular injectable in recent years. It is considered by many to be a stronger, slightly more androgenic Deca-Durabolin. It is generally cheaper and can replace Deca in most cycles without changing the end result significantly.
The side effects associated with Equipoise are generally mild. The structure of boldenone allows it to be converted to estrogen, but it does not have an extremely high affinity for doing so. To try to quantify this, we can look at aromatization studies, which suggest that the rate of estrogen conversion should be about half that of testosterone. The tendency to develop a noticeable amount of water retention with this drug would therefore be slightly higher than that with Deca-Durabolin (with an estimated 20% conversion), but much less than would be expected with a stronger agent such as Testosterone. Although there is still a chance of encountering an estrogen-related side effect as such when using this substance, it is not a common problem when taken at a moderate dose level. Gynecomastia can theoretically be a problem, but is usually only heard with very sensitive individuals or (again) those who dare high dosage. If estrogenic effects become difficult, the addition of Nolvadex and / or Proviron should of course make the cycle more tolerable. An anti-aromatase such as Cytadren or Arimidex would be stronger alternatives, but probably not suggested with a mild drug as such.
Equipment can also cause distinct androgenic side effects. The occurrence of oily skin, acne, increased aggression and hair loss are also all possible with this compound, although they will usually be related to the use of higher doses. In fact, women find this drug quite comfortable, virilization symptoms often unseen when taken in low doses. Boldenone reduces to a more potent androgen (dihydroboldenone) via 5alpha-reductase enzyme (which produces DHT from testosterone), but its affinity for this interaction in the human body is low to non-existent. We can therefore not consider the reductase inhibitor Proscar to be very useful with Equipoise, as it would block what is at best an insignificant metabolic pathway for the steroid. And although this drug is relatively mild, it can still have a depressant effect on endogenous testosterone levels. A combination of HCG and Clomid / Nolvadex may also be needed at the end of each cycle to avoid a “crash”, especially when driving for a long time.
Not a fast mass builder, instead Equipoise will be looked at to provide a slow but steady strengthening of strength and quality muscle mass. The most positive effects of this drug are seen when used for longer cycles, usually lasting more than 8-10 weeks. The muscle gained should not be the even bulk seen with androgens, but very defined and solid. Because water inflation does not contribute greatly to muscle diameter, much of the size obtained on a cycle of equipment can be maintained after the drug has been discontinued. It is interesting to note that structurally Equipoise and the classic bulking drug Dianabol are almost identical. In the case of Equipoise, the compound uses a 17betaester (undecylenate), while Dianabol is 17 alphaalkylated. Apart from this, the molecules are the same.
As discussed earlier, Equipoise is a very versatile association. We can create a number of drug combinations with it depending on the desired result. For the mass, you may want to stack it with Anadrol 50 (oxymetholone) or an injectable testosterone like Sustanon 250. The result should be an incredible increase in muscle size and strength, without the same intensity of side effects if you use the androgen (at a higher dose) alone. During a sharpening phase, muscle hardness and density can be greatly improved when Equipoise is combined with a non-aromatizable steroid, such as trenbolone acetate, Proviron (mesterolone; 1-methyl DHT), Halotestin (fluoxymesterone) or Winstrol (stanozolol). For some, however, even the low buildup of estrogen associated with this compound is sufficient to reverse use in bulking cycles.
